Phish announces the return of Halloween festival

As if they weren't going to be appearing at copious festivals during their latest reunion, Phish has announced that they will be hosting a festival on Halloween weekend.
The band revealed their plans with a simple message on their website's entrance page: "Save The Date 10/30 10/31 11/01". The band did not indicate the location of the festival, though the Empire Polo Field in Indio, California (of Coachella and Stagecoach fame) and the 700-acre Bonaroo site in Manchester, Tennessee have both been mentioned as possibles.
The festival will possibly serve as a cap to Phish's live shows for 2009, with the first live appearances being a three-night run in Hampton, Virginia, and a subsequent tour, which included a stop headlining Bonnaroo.
Phish has a history of hosting festivals, with the first, entitled "The Clifford Ball," running on August 16 and 17 in Plattsburgh, New York. Artists ranging stylistically from Latin-rockers Ozomatli to bluegrass legend Del McCoury have appeared. The new, Halloween festival will be the eighth festival that the band has hosted.
