At a time when corporate sponsorship of jazz festivals has been in a state of flux, Canada's major jazz benefactor, TD Bank Financial Group, has extended its sponsorship of eight major Canadian jazz festivals until 2014. TD Canada Trust was already title sponsor of jazz festivals in Vancouver, Toronto, Ottawa and Halifax and also as a major sponsor in Saskatchewan. In 2010, festivals in Winnipeg and Victoria will add TD to the title, while the biggest of Canadian jazz events Montreal International Jazz Festival adds TD Canada Trust as presenting sponsor.
