Since the bells first starting rocking five years ago, this annual festival has become the go-to, must see event for hip hop heads and backpacker MC purists across North America. Traveling to 10 cities around the country and Canada, the rotating lineup of performers has included a who's who of famous MC's, producers and legends in hip hop culture. Past performers have included KRS-One, Mos Def, Lauryn Hill, Hieroglyphics, Busta Rhymes, Cypress Hill, Sage Francis, Jaylib, Redman, Jurassic 5 and Dilated Peoples. The inaugural 2004 the festival earned instant hip hop credibility by reuniting the entire Wu Tang Clan, only 4 months before the death of founding member Ol' Dirty Bastard. This year's lineup once pulls out the heavy artillery with main stage sets by A Tribe Called Quest, Nas, Mos Def, Rakim and members of Wu Tang Clan and a second stage of young guns including Spank Rock, the Cool Kids and The Pack.
