• 1200 festival records from old system successfully imported.

• 800 blog postings from Blogspot blogs successfully imported.

• All base functionality of site is now in place. Lots of tweaks and enhancements to come.

8/29/08

• Festival blog items added to bottom of selected festival pages (see Hardly Strictly Bluegrass and Monterey Jazz as examples). Plan to add function to all festival pages in the future.

• Related articles blog moved from right sidebar to content area below article. Plan to move to wraparound block inside the article in the future.

• Article URLs fixed. Festival date display in correct format. New favicon.

• Upcoming page is functional. Design improvements coming. Full festival database import to come.

• Red-letter date: We redirected the domain and so the festivalpreview.com points to the beta site. Welcome to new users. Blog commenting is functional. Basic upcoming functionality.

• Various improvements in display of festival pages. URLs now appear as text links. Null fields do not display.

• Festival Preview 2.0 is available in its beta-site version at http://www.festivalpreview.com/beta. We plan to make it live in 10 days, at which time we will discontinue the old Festival Preview site.
